At the recent ID.Treffen event in Locarno, Switzerland, Volkswagen turned heads by unveiling its latest electric brainchild, the ID.X Performance. Building on the success of its electric sedan, the ID.7, this new addition packs a punch with an impressive 558 horsepower.

The ID.X Performance isn’t just about raw power; it’s a visual treat too. With newly designed spoilers, a sleek carbon fiber aerodynamic package, and bold 20-inch wheels, it’s a sight to behold. A tweaked suspension drops the car 60 millimeters closer to the road, enhancing its sporty demeanor.

Step inside, and the cabin greets you with rich red accents, perfectly complemented by striking red contrasting stitches, adding a touch of luxury and flair.

Under the hood, two electric motors work in tandem to churn out that remarkable 558 horsepower. While Volkswagen hasn’t spilled all the beans on its specs, there’s buzz that this beauty might zip from 0 to 100 km/h in just around 4 seconds or even quicker.

The unveiling of the ID.X Performance in Locarno signals Volkswagen’s continued commitment to pioneering in the electric car arena, and we’re here for it.
