Volkswagen has unveiled a sleek new special edition for its iconic Golf line-up – the Black Edition. As the name aptly suggests, the vehicle is drenched in an all-black finish, making it a head-turner on the roads. Exclusive to the UK market, this limited-edition Golf is sure to pique the interest of Volkswagen aficionados.
The German car manufacturer has gone all out with the aesthetics, giving the 18-inch wheels the same black tint. Beyond its striking appearance, the Black Edition Golf is well-appointed with features. Rear tinted windows come standard, adding to its mystique. For those chilly UK mornings, Volkswagen has included the Winter Pack, ensuring drivers stay warm with heated seats and a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel.
On the technology front, the Black Edition doesn’t disappoint. Factory-fitted equipment boasts LED Plus headlights and a handy rear-view camera for easier parking maneuvers.
Under the hood, customers can choose from three powertrains. Options include the 1.5 TSI delivering 150 horsepower, its mild-hybrid counterpart – the 1.5 eTSI, and a more powerful 2.0 TSI engine churning out 190 horsepower. The 1.5 TSI pairs with a 6-speed manual gearbox, while the other two engines come coupled with a 7-speed automatic transmission.
