At the elegant Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, Mercedes-Benz introduced its AMG SL’s latest iteration, aptly named “Manufaktur Big Sur.” Tailored exclusively for the American audience, this special edition carries a distinct visual appeal.
Setting it apart from the standard AMG SL, the Big Sur edition sports a unique “Manufaktur Orange Flame Metallic” paintwork. This dazzling orange is inspired by the breathtaking hues of a sunset. Complementing the vibrant exterior, the special edition is further enhanced by the AMG Exterior Chrome Package. It adds chrome accents to the grille, side skirts, and emblems, creating a stark contrast to its fiery orange.
Further elevating its aesthetics, the AMG SL Big Sur flaunts 21-inch black alloy wheels, black brake calipers, and a matching textile roof. A redesigned AMG emblem graces the front, sealing its exclusive status.
Inside, the cabin boasts Mystic Red Nappa leather seats set against a black backdrop, intricately stitched with contrasting orange threads. The same color palette extends to the steering wheel, door panels, dashboard, and central console, ensuring continuity in its premium design.
While this special edition is a feast for the eyes, under the hood, it remains consistent with its powerful predecessor. The Mercedes AMG SL Big Sur is equipped with a 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8 engine, pumping out an impressive 585 horsepower. Notably, this edition is modeled after the top-tier SL 63.
Crafted in limited numbers, the Manufaktur Big Sur edition will exclusively cater to US customers.
