In an electrifying unveil at the revered Pebble Beach Elegance Contest, Infiniti pulls the covers off its innovative QX Monograph concept. This grand SUV foreshadows what the future might hold for the next-gen QX80, Infiniti’s flagship series model.
Earlier teased with a captivating image, the Japanese automaker, Infiniti, chose one of its most significant markets – the United States, to present the concept model. The QX Monograph stands as a testament to Infiniti’s evolutionary design direction, showcasing a smooth, fluid design mostly characterized by sleek surfaces.
One of the groundbreaking features of the new concept is its incorporation of Infiniti’s 3D emblem, introduced just earlier this year. The front fascia exhibits dominance with its massive grille, flanked by slimline LED headlights. A notable design quirk is the array of petite lights on the grille’s top, creating an illusion of a continuous LED strip, adding an engaging visual interplay as they adjust their brightness when the driver approaches.
In addition to the intricate detailing upfront, the vehicle dons a contrasting black roof, complemented by slim pillars, painting an illusion of a ‘floating roof.’ The Infiniti QX Monograph further boasts smooth door surfaces with seamlessly integrated handles and impressive large wheels, with hints of red and chrome detailing to accentuate its luxurious persona.
The rear design stands out with chunky LED taillights connected by a thick band, contrasting the front look. Finishing touches include a subtle roof-mounted spoiler, bold brand lettering on the hatch door, and a uniquely designed rear bumper evoking the essence of exhaust vents.
While the automotive community eagerly awaits its possible introduction, speculations hint at a 2025 debut for this sophisticated concept.
