South Korean luxury carmaker, Genesis, has officially introduced the refreshed GV80 SUV. The latest reveal is currently exclusive to South Korea but is expected to make its debut in other global markets soon. The highlight of the GV80 facelift launch is the introduction of a new body variant – the GV80 Coupe, marking the brand’s inaugural venture into the SUV-coupe segment.

The revamped GV80 showcases a redesigned front bumper, subtly reshaped grille, and updated headlights. Larger lateral air intakes dominate the front, complemented by a revamped main air intake. Enhancing its rugged appearance is a newly incorporated protective shield just below.

Chromed decorative elements, particularly noticeable on the front, lower door sections, and rear, amplify the vehicle’s elegance. Additionally, two new wheel designs, sized 20 and 22 inches, expand the choices for consumers. A fresh shade of green enriches the color palette for this model.

Inside, a standout feature is the 27-inch OLED screen, seamlessly merging the digital instrument panel and multimedia system. Positioned right beneath are essential tactile controls, including those for temperature adjustments. The center console boasts two rotating commands, with one serving as the gear shifter and the other managing radio volume. This space also features a wireless charging tray for smartphones.

In terms of performance, the GV80 SUV facelift is powered by two engine options, while the GV80 Coupe gets an additional one. The range starts with a 2.5-liter turbo gasoline engine, producing 304 horsepower and 422 Nm of torque. A more powerful 3.5-liter turbo gasoline engine churns out 380 horsepower and 530 Nm of torque.
